Jean-François Cordeau (Professor, HEC Montréal)

Jean-François Cordeau is a Professor of logistics and operations management at HEC Montréal, where he also holds the Canada research chair in logistics and transportation. From 2008 to 2013, he was Deputy director of the Interuniversity research centre on enterprise networks, logistics and transportation (CIRRELT) in Montréal. He has authored or coauthored more than 100 scientific articles in combinatorial optimization and mathematical decomposition, mostly in the fields of vehicle routing and network design. He has also supervised more than 50 M.Sc. and Ph.D.students. He is an Associate editor of IIE transactions and INFOR, and a member of the editorial board of Computers & operations research. Dr. Cordeau has also acted as a consultant for several Canadian and European organizations in the private and public sectors.
